Freda, would you kindly tell me the lyrics to "Waiting for me". Thanks for your lovely music!

Freda - Fri, Oct 29th, 2010 4:01 PM CDT
Dear Liz,

So wonderful to hear from you and receive your uplifting words of encouragement.

May God bless you and yours, especially your cousin, CJ, and our sweet Kim for letting you know about my music.

With love and prayers,

Liz Wilson - Thu, Oct 28th, 2010 12:06 PM CDT
Hi Freda, my friend Kim Norton led me to your music today. I have fallen absolutely in love with several of your songs. I THOUGHT Dance in the Rain was my fave until I heard Not Just Soldiers in the Sand. I sent that one to my cousin CJ who was recently injured in Aphganastan. After 34 surgeries, he is now (TODAY) on a 10 day furlow to come home and share what God has done in his life through this tragedy. What a day to find this song and send it to him. God is so good....all the time. Thanks again.

Great to hear from you, Naomi! We should all try to get together again soon.

Thanks for your sweet comment!

Naomi Henley - Sat, Mar 27th, 2010 11:16 AM CDT
Just ran across your web page today. It has been so long since hearing your music. I didn't realize your had advanced so since those days so long ago when we all hung out with Kenny and Pam. You are still such a blessing.

Freda Tapp - Tue, Jan 5th, 2010 9:55 PM CST
Thanks, Greta! What a blessing it was to have your 3 beautiful generations in my home!

I have already connected with Sara on Facebook and will most likely hook up with everyone else before the week is out, including Joe.

With love and prayers,

Greta Thibodaux - Mon, Jan 4th, 2010 4:34 PM CST
Had a wonderful visit with you all and my girls enjoyed it very much. I wish we had a thought to bring Sara's guitar. She brought most of her guitars/equipment to my house and could have brought the acoustic. Would have been nice to listen to both of you play and sing something. Another time I hope. Please check up on the girls facebook/myspace or websites. I just look at the pictures, not really into the commenting on the facebook. I still prefer just plain ole e-mailing.

Take care and stay in touch.

Tried to e-mail you from our home account. This is my personal account.
Hope you guys have been doing well.

Our daughter Sara will probably try to contact you regarding questions about music stuff.

Hope you can help her out.

I would like to order your CD. I listen to some of the songs a few years back. Enjoyed it very much.

Thanks, Debbie! - Wed, Jul 15th, 2009 12:57 PM CDT
I appreciate your comments so much. I don't usually get much traffic over here so it's really fun when someone stops by.

I'd be honored to provide any musical support, especially if God delivers me of the heeby-jeebies.

Love you!

debbie cavitt - Sat, Jul 11th, 2009 7:20 PM CDT
I've been listening to your music, Freda.
What a quiet, humble talent you are.
I hope we have opportunity to use your music at some point during our "Woman to Woman" events. We'll talk.

My guestbook has been turned off for a while due to unwanted pests.

The problem has now been resolved. Yay!

Sorry about the Spam - Fri, Feb 20th, 2009 2:01 PM CST
Even though I subscribe to top-of-the-line security, I still incur the occasional profane spam on this guestbook. I try to keep it deleted daily but if you see it before I remove it, please accept my apologies.

Hey Mom,

Just thought I'd say "Hi!" We can't wait to spend Thanksgiving with all of you.

Freda - Sun, Aug 24th, 2008 3:55 PM CDT
Dang ya'll. I know you meant well, but did you have to make me look like such a loser?

Sincere thanks, though, especially to Michelle for the sweet anticipation of our upcoming visit. We are counting the days, too. See you soon!

Michelle - Thu, Aug 21st, 2008 6:38 AM CDT
Hey Freda!! I hope that your comments start to pick up a little bit, it's no fun when you don't get any feedback from people.

Can't wait for your visit, the kids are counting down the days!!

Love, Michelle

First off, that's not a spelling error or type-o.

I do appreciate your visits here, but gee, it's been a while since I've had a comment. And even those are mostly my own!

Blessings to those of you who attended the Victory Celebration today at Calvary Baptist Church in Shreveport. Your invitation and response to my music was truly an honor and the kind of encouragement and support every songwriter treasures.

With deepest gratitude,

Hey Mom!

It's been a while since I've visited your website, so I dropped in to listen through a few of your songs. It's amazing how they keep blessing me. They bring my heart back to where it should always be. I love you and I hope all is well over there in Louisiana.

With love,

Thanks, Tara! (My violin angel) - Thu, Sep 6th, 2007 12:47 PM CDT
I appreciate your comments about my website! I deliberately have kept it simple...I like to say "uncluttered" as I sometimes have a difficult time navigating other sites that have excessive options and required log-ins.

Yes, I too, am grateful for our music/work relationship and the deep friendship that has developed from it. God has blessed me so much by you and your extraordinary gift.

No new-new tunes at the moment, but plenty of project ideas for currently unused material. I do not multi-task well and we all know that's a minimum requirement in this business! I'll call soon...

With love and prayers,

Tara - Mon, Sep 3rd, 2007 10:58 AM CDT
Just sat down this morning to peruse the songs we've done together -- what good, good times of friendship, creativity, and worship. :)

And I LOVE the website! It's beautiful, very user-friendly, and so very YOU... just wonderful. :)

Any new tunes in the works? :)

No, not my age. It's our anniversary! Thirty-seven incredible years with my Rob.

Although I don't particularly recommend getting married as young as we did, the Lord smiled on us and made all things work for our good, just like His word promises.

With love, blessings and a good reason to write happy songs,

I just want to let everyone know that my online distributor, CDBaby, will be receiving more Cd albums of "Dance in the Rain" in 2 or 3 days.

For my local listeners, the CDs are available in the Bossier Mall at PrayerWorks and Christian Life Tapes and Books on Jewella.

Thanks for the emails and calls!

With love and music,

To Sharon from Freda - Fri, Mar 23rd, 2007 10:24 PM CDT
Your words of love and encouragement have ministered to me during this time of loss and grief. Your recent visit meant so much to Mama and me. I hope we can stay in touch and get together again in the near future.

The Lord is faithful and His mercy endures forever! Sweet blessings to you and Coy...

Sharon Allen Roy - Wed, Mar 21st, 2007 11:23 AM CDT
Freda, I have listened to your cd since you gave it to me Monday night at the house. At this sad time in your life I want you to know that you and your music and gift have been used as a true instrument of God in touching me in ways that I have not experienced in quite a long time. I have been yearning for that quiet, reverent, joyful worship experience - and I found it again through your music. I am praying for you and the family. I want you to know I love you as I did when we were growing up together and I have just now realized how much I have missed you, my mama and your mama and Patti - plus all the other family members. God Bless you now and always! Love, Sharon

How precious of you, Greta, to take the time and effort to encourage me when I know you have a thousand things to do right here before Christmas. You truly made my day!

Give our love to Joe and the girls. Congratulations on the arrival of your first grandchild!

With love and hugs,

Greta Thibodaux - Wed, Dec 20th, 2006 3:40 PM CST

I enjoyed listening to some of your music. It is really special, comforting and inspiring. I hope to listen to more over the next few days. You are truly blessed with a wonderful talent.
